For as long as I can remember, I wanted to write. So, it seemed natural I would work in the newspaper business and do just that. As I entered my teen years I learned I had a knack for effectively communicating…with everyone!
My passions for people and the written word came together in a 34-year career in the non-profit sector…specifically the Iowa Newspaper Association. The perfect place for me…at the intersection of journalism and sales.
Working in the newspaper industry while it prospered followed by the disruption of the Internet, which resulted in catalytic changes, honed not only my sales and writing skills, but my leadership ability.
I’m eager to bring the skills I’ve sharpened through my work with journalists to help businesses better communicate with their varied audiences.
