As I contemplated launching my freelance writing business, I thought a lot about what my blog might look like. What information could I offer to potential clients that would be helpful? I could provide writing tips, but would that keep people coming back?
I’ve settled on a potpourri of things. I’ll share some interesting writing tips from time to time. And, as I see other bloggers who are sharing insightful information, I may include excerpts of those as well. But, what I think is most valuable to you is examples of my writing.
So, I’ve decided to have some fun with my writing and I hope, along the way, show you what skills I have that may be helpful to addressing whatever writing challenge you face. You may read a little about my family, about my travel adventures or the parade of family and friends we welcome to our lake home each summer. And, certainly you’ll read about my dog. Who doesn’t want to read about a cute, cuddly, sometimes silly Yorkie?
Tell me what you think. Your feedback will make me a better writer. It may even make me a better mom, or wife or friend. There isn’t one among us that can’t improve in those areas.
